Phalando Lawson, Owner/CEO, established once Faceoff Records now (J Lawson Music Group) in 1998 to compete with other labels by branding new artists in the music industry. He has provided artists with opportunities to perform at concerts and events, receive radio airplay and recognition in both local and national magazines. Mr. Lawson aka Mr. Flamboyant, cousin of Gladys Knight, is well seasoned in the entertainment industry.

Having produced his own albums, performing with major artist, appearing in major music videos, commercials, indie movies and television shows, he has gained significant experience and connections in the entertainment business. Mr. Lawson is eager to work with new artists and provide them with the connections and resources necessary to advance their careers.
